Through their astounding performances, both Aglaia and Chorale, showcased the wonderful possibilities that can be brought about through creativity, reminding us of its power that can ignite one’s passions.

On February 3, SHSQC Chorale showcased their musical talents at the GSIS Theater in Pasay City in honor of the “Happy Days are Here Again” Concert of the Alumni Batch ‘74 of College of the Holy Spirit. The performers are from the Junior and Senior Chorale Enrichment Program. The song “Hibang sa Awit” by Ryan Cayabyab and “Dear Theodosia” from Hamilton was delivered to the audience, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The event also being a fundraiser for the Globe Habag Movement offered an educational journey, feeding 100,000 needy families across the Philippines. Chorale president, Erin Abogado, highlighted that this guest performance expanded their horizons, exposing them to a larger audience and a more sophisticated setting. With the skills gained, Chorale also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the members; radiating this to fellow performers.
On January 18, 2024, Aglaia represented our school in their stellar performance during the Miriam Fair, themed "Dance Night”, leaving the audience enthralled with their captivating dance performance. The night was filled with excitement and many exhilarating moments, with Aglaia taking center stage as a prime example of this.
They performed a thrilling array of dance renditions, one of which was Kali Uchi's "SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY." As the curtains closed on Aglaia's performance, their electrifying display of skills and talents surely left a lasting impression on all who witnessed their igniting passion that day.
Aglaia and Chorale continue to showcase their God-given talents in the school community and in reaching a larger audience. These performances leave every one of us inspired while we witness the hard work and determination of each member as they ignite the flames of passion.
